I went out with Felix after my run (yup, started jogging again). We chatted for a bit then he showed me this heavy-duty flashlight he had purchased. It was very strong and we were trying to figure out what to do with it. I came up with the idea of light painting photography. So I went home and picked up my camera.
We walked around trying to find a wall without any powerful light on it (to avoid extra light pollution in the image). We finally found an interesting wall not too far from where we lived. I mounted the camera on the tripod and began painting.
I also decided to take some pictures of the moon since no night photography photo shoot would be complete without it.
can you explain a bit further what “light painting” is? how were you able to make the faces and stuff
Well, first off you must take the “F”otography Train. Then you keep your shutter open for a long duration of time to allow light trail patterns to appear on the sensor.
That’s my boy, i am glad you are working out again!!!
Yeah it’s hard to start but I think I’m getting there.
