Had my last casual shoot for the season today. Instead of waiting to meet the couple to take my first shot of the day, I prepared my camera for shooting before I left the house. There’s always something exciting about shooting in the street. Especially when you get that one shot you weren’t expecting.
I always felt that though there are rules to photography, the joy in it for me is bending them. Instead of taking a class on how to take a picture, I find the trial and error approach more pleasing. The joy from snapping “the one” cannot be tought in a classroom. Not sure how this relates to the casual shoot, but thought I should express it any way.
Also, carrying my camera prior to the shoot helped to create ideas during the shoot.
