Putting in the time

Written by Leisure / General

Just want to write in stone (if I ever forget) that I once knew how to solve a Rubik’s cube. Nothing serious here, just a series of memorized steps, but I do remember that they took about 2+ hours to memorize. The important thing is that I put time into accomplishing the task. I also felt a sense of accomplishment after achieving the task (though somewhat trivial).

What am I trying to say? I guess the importance in overcoming a task is putting your mind to it and believing it can be done. I have been quite lazy recently (as I seem to be every year). I feel that I procrastinate a lot and don’t work on the task at hand until it is due. I feel as though I will not put in the time unless not starting would mean I couldn’t finish on schedule. I guess it’s a bad habit (which needs to change).
