School has begun and I am short on time. Today I felt like messing with long shutter speeds. Nearing Valentines day I thought it would only be reasonable to make a heart from a strong light source. The second picture in this post also has a long exposure, but unlike the first, I am zooming into the subject. As you can see it leaves great effect. It’s almost like the star field is jumping out of the screen. This effect can be used to bring movement to still objects. Note that it is important to use a tripod while shooting to minimize camera shake (I did not use one). Enjoy!
