I learned a lot more today about the importance of white balancing. I invited my mother and my lovely girlfriend to lunch at the Jackson House Restaurant. The place was much smaller compared to my favorite diner (Jahn’s). Prior to arriving I set the camera to a tungsten white balance setting. This worked fine inside the diner, but after leaving I forgot to change it back to the daylight setting. This resulted in a blue tone throughout the picture. Also I understand that it was my mistake for shooting in JPEG format as opposed to RAW. I will learn more about what capturing images in RAW mode offers when it comes to post processing. Check the images below to see what I meant by a blue tone.
