Powerzone Volleyball Tournament – Nov 2018

Written by Friends, Video, Volleyball

I had the great opportunity of playing with come of the current Hunter College Men’s Volleyball Team players at the multi-annual Powerzone Volleyball Tournament. We had some really good games, and I was reminded of what it was like being on a collegiate team. From our 20 game winning streak, to appearing in the inaugural NCAA Division 3 Mens’s volleyball championships I am really exited for all the guys to experience their part of collegiate volleyball.

We made it all the way to the quarterfinals, and lost to Katimba who made their way to the finals. This was definitely one of the best Powerzone tournaments I’ve had. After our day was done I got to watch Katimba play in the Quarterfinals against Northeast Volleyball, and later against Freedom in the finals. They play so well together! Stanley also put on a show, he was serving very well and killing just about every ball set to him.

I had recorded our first three games (below), but a ball hit my camera before our third game which destroyed the power cable so I couldn’t record anymore.
