Veganism for almost 2 weeks

Tania and I have been eating clean (vegan) for almost 2 weeks now. I have to say it’s paying off. My fitness really took a turn for the worst recently. I was about 220lbs a few weeks ago, and now have lost about 10lbs just by eating correctly (and a bit of running/volleyball). The best part is that I have not been craving anything bad (though I did have doughnuts from Dunwell a few days ago – but in my defense Tania had bought them for me).On top of that I feel a lot better. My volleyball game has improved; I do not feel as tired as I used to be. I feel like I move more easily on the court and I’m more driven. Reminds me of my college days.

I have also stumbled on a large set of restaurants in the past few weeks. My mom took me to Sweetgreen (seen in the photo above). Tania and I found a little vegan place in the city (Pure Kitchn), and a friend of mine has recommended 4 vegan spots to me (Candle Cafe West, Franchia Vegan Cafe, Sacred Chow, and by Chloe).

I also started eating more home cooked food as well as fruits and vegetables. I got to try real lychee and rambutan for the first time. I prefer the latter since trying a lychee made me realize they unfortunately are not as sweet as I have always thought they were (after drinking lychee juice at restaurants). At least I always have watermelons.
