To celebrate the win, Tania took me out to dinner. We walked through half of Manhattan [I enjoyed every step of it] and later found a small Thai place. We had the Thai Spare Ribs as an appetizer. Once again we were impressed by the sauces provided with the dish. The presentation of the food was not that good though.
For the main course I had the Pineapple Fried Rice while Tania had the Chicken Pad Thai. Once again the presentation was not as good as I had expected it to be. The rice in my dish was all over the place. Tania’s dish did not have the ingredients mixed properly. The peanuts along with the beans sprouts were all in one clump.
Secondly, their service was a bit slow. There were a total of four occupied tables at the restaurant, and it took a lot of effort to get our server’s attention. One thing I did appreciated were the free refills. Overall, I don’t feel this is a place we will be eager to return to.
Also on a side note, I wish I was more acceptable of change. I didn’t want to risk getting something I did not enjoy. The next restaurant I eat in I will try to order something new.
