So today was Tania’s birthday. We began by eating some customized Thai food. Tania was in the mood for some Pad Thai so we headed over to Spicy Shallot. She ordered the Pad Thai (no egg / with tofu) while I had the Basil Fried Rice (no egg / with tofu). Both dishes were really good.
We then made our way to Dunwell Doughnuts in Saint Mark’s place. Luckily we got there after 8:00pm and were able to take advantage of their BOGO deal. We enjoyed the doughnuts by south street seaport (which has changed a lot since the last time we were there).
I got the chance to take some of my long exposure night photos. I really like how the last one turned out. There was a group of people playing what sounded like traditional Chinese music. At the same time some of them were dancing. I captured this woman who looks more spooky than dance-y.
