After riding to Port Jefferson with Felix, I thought it would be a good idea to return there with Tania. We always head upstate (Peekskill or Cold Springs) and I thought this was a nice change up.
We took the long island expressway there since its the fastest, but the return trip was via route 25A, a lot more scenic and curvy. I badly want to travel the entire route 25A again, but this time entirely on a motorcycle.
Tania and I ate lunch at Port Jefferson and shortly after satisfied our sweet tooth with some fruit tarts and refreshments. We checked out some of the small shops and made a mental list of the places we want to try out on our next visit. Maybe we might even take the ferry to Connecticut.
