Felix and I rented bikes for our thirt time. This time he was able to pick up his own bike after recently passing the MSF course. On Friday, I left work 1.5 hours early and picked up the FZ8R while Felix got himself an CB500F (which we recently rented together).
We picked the bikes up on Friday and headed to Peekskill. Our destination was Table 9, a local diner like restaurant located on Annseville Circle.we grabbed a bike then headed back into NYC around 930pm. Felix decided to go meet up with some friends in Long Island City so I rode with him there and then continued my way towards Circle. I got home around 3:30pm and hit the bed.
We agreed to meet around 9:30am the following morning but actually met around 10am. I decided to take the bike out for a lap around Jackson Heights before we met up. This was my trip to LaGuardia Airport and back:
I then foolishly decided to magnetically mounting the Xiaomi Yi on the carburator and get a shot of the front tire along with the road. That didn’t end well:
On Saturday we went towards Long Island. There was an interesting route I always wanted to travel (route 25A). We took it almost all the way up to Port Jefferson. Before we knew it it was time to head back. Tania was kind enough to meet us Queens Village to bring one of the rental helmets. I then rode down to Howard Beach with Felix to return the CB500F.
