Appalachian Trail – Bear Mountain

Tania and I took a trip up north to Bear Mountain to walk one of its trails. We decided to take the Appalachian trail which presented us with a lot of stairs (100+ floors if I recall correctly). It was a good workout and was quite relaxing at the same time. I ran into an old friend (Steven) from Aviation high school’s volleyball team.

Overall the hike took about 1.5-2 hours. The view at the top was great. We could see Manhattan from the distance. Though we could have enjoyed the same view driving, I think it was well worth the hike :).
