Last year I noticed that FIT students were drawing on the walls of their university. Seems like the trend is continuing into this year as well. I was running a few outdoor errands at work today and decided to grab my camera to see what I could capture. I never noticed, but there is a lot of art around midtown Manhattan. Paintings, stickers, murals and now students drawing on walls are just a few of the things which decorate the walls in New York City.
I guess each student (in a specific department/class) gets a chunk of the wall to draw a pre-approved illustration. Most of the students are wise enough add their social media links on top of their art pieces. I think the exhibit is up for about a week or so, and I can only imagine how much feedback they must receive within that time.
