Replacing some broken equipement

I’ve owned the Vello HSA-PCS hot shoe PC sync adapter for quite some time now and it has worked well for the most part. On my last job it gave up on me. I had it connected to my 60D and tried to trigger the 580 flash along with some room lights (with the PocketWizard Plus II). For some reason when the flash was on the room lights did not fire. If I turned off the flash the room lights did indeed fire. This was unusual behavior and I decided to purchase another PC sync adapter.

I replaced the old with the new Pixel TF-321 adapter. I just tester it out and it seems to work fine. Lets see if it holds for longer than its predecessor did.

On a side note I really like how this picture looks. I shot it at f/1.4 and that out of focus area is just oh-so-creamy.
