Manducatis Rustica Resturant – Part 2

Written by Recipes / Food

Today I returned to the Manducatis Rustica restaurant. On my first trip there, Tania and I only had some cookies with tea. This time we went for the full thing; freshly made pizza followed by some homemade ice ceam.

We started off with a salad and then moved our way up to the pizza. The ‘insalata mista’ salad was composed of mixed greens along with a side plate of goat cheese and walnuts. We were warmly served some bread as we ate our appetizer.

The Funghi and Diavola pizza were next. Aside from being fresh, they were also very light. Most importantly, it tasted as though everything down to the sauce was made in the restaurant. We each had two slices of each kind and moved on to some ice cream.

I managed not to drool over the ice cream fridge at the counter. I could not decide which flavors to get. I ended up purchasing a scoop of lemon and pear.

Overall it was a great meal. Though the service was great (at the table), we did run into a miner upset (when ordering ice cream). The woman who served us the ice cream seemed not to like her job too much. Maybe she just had a bad day. Otherwise it was great!
