I love my recent point and shoot upgrade. The Canon Powershot A2200 is a pleasure to use. For its price, it is very fast (power cycling, reviewing images, exposures), very well designed, and fun to use. With digital creative add-ons like the fish-eye and tilt shift effects, the camera allows me to see perspectives I previously wasn’t able too. The ability to shoot HD video in 720p allows me to capture the moment in a moving image.
Overall, it is a big setup from the Sony Cybershot I own. Also, the menus of the Powershot are somewhat similar to my Canon 60d DSLR and therefore much easier to navigate. The camera goes with me everywhere. I think I might use it go take a picture of each away Gym I play in this volleyball season. First up, Springfield.
