So today I started my summer by treating myself to the Canon BG-E9 vertical battery grip. I must say that the grip feels great, and product does indeed add more wight to the camera body itself. Since I currently only have the 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 lens, the camera does feel a bit rear heavy. The thing I appreciated the most was the extra length it gave to the camera while it was held in landscape mode. This is because my hands are bigger than average and the extra length accommodates for my pinky.
I also received a new lens.
